Higgs Boson Studies at the Tevatron
July 2013
The full 10 fb-1 data sample is analyzed in searches for the SM Higgs boson in the decay modes
H→bb, H→W+W-, H→τ+τ-,
H→γγ, and H→ZZ, using the production modes WH, ZH, gg→H, ttH, and Vector Boson Fusion.
We observe a significant excess of events in the mass range between 115 and 140 GeV/c2, consistent with the mass of the Higgs boson
observed at the LHC. The local significance at mH=125 GeV/c2 is 3.0σ, and the median expected
significance at that mass
is 1.9σ. Results are shown separately for the several decay modes, and extractions of coupling strengths are performed.
Results obtained in searches for a Fermiophobic Higgs boson and a Higgs boson in the SM with a fourth sequential
generation of fermions are also presented.
